Sarasota County has selected an engineering consultant to begin preliminary evaluation and preliminary design for
in-stream restoration projects /improvements at several localities. District staff toured the sites 8/24/2009. The
agreement between the District and the County for the project is under development. Details for the proposed scope of
work are still under development and are not anticipated to be completed until mid to late September 2009. It is
anticipated the draft agreement would be undergoing review by both parties in late October 2009 with full execution by
both parties in December 2009.
