department for a listing of all County utility water customers that were on record before September 1998, the cutoff date
for eligibilty to participate in the rain sensor program. The Manatee County Cooperative Extension Information
Technology Department has handed out flyers at training classes and at exhibits, has publicized the program in local
monthly papers, put notes on the face of the water bills, and has it on there website. The program is now complete. The
final report is being drafted. To date, the District has reimbursed Manatee County $99.70 for six rain sensor rebates.
