The fall, winter and spring newsletters were mailed to approximately 600 residents. Lakeside cleanup events were held in
July as part of the 8th Annual Lakes Appreciation Celebration. Approximately 200 volunters participated by removing
2,000 pounds of trash and debris from 16 lakes in Lakeland. Participants were recognized at a volunteer appreciation
lunch, held on July 25 at the Circle B Bar Reserve. The Cardboard Boat Challenge and Lakes Festival is scheduled for
Saturday, September 26, at Lake Hollingsworth. The water resources conference has been scheduled for October. The
FY2009 purchase order will be extended through November to meet this deliverable. ACTION TO DATE: On time.
