phase includes design and permitting. District staff presented an overview of the 60 percent design and estimated costs
to the August Governing Board. In response to questions from the board, District staff will follow up with individual board
members, provide a tour of the project site on September 23, and will present additional information at the September
Governing Board meeting. Engineering services have been phased and funds added following completion of a phase. An
amendment is needed to the consultant agreement to add funds for final design and construction phase services. Staff
will request approval of the consultant amendment at the board meeting.
ACCELERATED ACTION TO DATE: Currently on hold. Consultant completed conceptual plan for supplemental habitat
enhancement project along Saddle Creek. Potential to utilize project as mitigation for County landfill may delay this
component.
