İstanbul Mevlevihâneleri Özelinde Mevlevihânelerin Akustik Özelliklerinin Değerlendirilmesi
İslam mimarisinin en spesifik örneklerinden olan Mevlevi tekkeleri, “Mevlevihâne”lerin akustik özelliklerinin
anlaşılması için bu alanda yapılacak çalışmalara ihtiyaç vardır. Mevlevilerin bir araya geldiği ve yaşamlarını sürdüğü mevlevihânelerde,
birçok ritüel gerçekleştirilirken bunların en önemlisi Mevlevi ayinleri’dir. “Mevlevi ayinleri” bir gösteri salonundan
çok da farklı olmayan semâhanelerin yapılması ihtiyacını doğurmuştur. Akustik ve görsel amaçlı tasarlanan
semâhaneler ise özgün formları ve büyük hacimleri ile hacim akustiğinin çalışma sahasına girer. Müzik, dans ve tiyatro
sanatlarının bir karşımı olan Mevlevi Ayinleri, kendisi olduğu kadar yapıldığı mekânla da ilgi çekicidir. Bugüne kadar yapılan
sınırlı sayıdaki çalışma ile bu mekânların akustik özelikleri hakkında bir yorumda bulunmak zordur. Bu çalışma ile
mevlevihânelerin bu genel akustik özelliklerinin ortaya konması amaçlanmaktadır. Türkiye’de ve Türkiye dışında bulunan
100’den fazla mevlevihânenin her biri kendine has özellikleri barındırmasına rağmen bu çalışma İstanbul sınırları içerisinde
bulunan üç mevlevihâne ile sınırlandırılmıştır. Mevlevi âsitanelerinden Bahariye, Yenikapı ve Galata Mevlevîhaneleri
incelenecek olan yapılardır. Mevlevi müziğinin kendine has kimliği de dikkate alınarak yapılan çalışmada ölçüm ve modelleme
yollu akustik değerlendirmelere gidilecektir. ODEON yazılımı kullanılarak yapılan modelleme ile mevcut sorunların
tespiti yapılacak ve akustik koşulların iyileştirilmesi adına önerilerde bulunulacaktır.

An Investigation on Acoustic Properties of the Mevlevi Lodges with the Special Reference to
Mevlevi Lodges in Istanbul
Comprehensive studies are required to understand the original acoustical features of the Mevlevi Lodges which
are one of the most special examples of the Islamic Architecture as well as the Ottoman Architecture. Acoustic properties
of the whirling halls still need to be studied due to their authentic forms and large volume. With the current existing limited
availability of researches, it is difficult to assess about the acoustic properties of this type of buildings. The aim of this
research is to reveal the overall acoustic properties of the Mevlevi Lodges. In these assessments, unique identity of Mevlevi
music will also be taken into consideration.
Galata, Bahariye and Yenikapı Mevlevi Lodges which located in Istanbul are selected for the research from among
almost a hundred Mevlevi Lodges. Acoustics evaluations of the selected Mevlevi Lodges are aimed to be done after the data
held from in situ acoustical measurements and the Odeon 3D models. The results of this research will provide information
and findings about Mevlevi Lodge’s acoustical properties as well as their differences from the western performance halls.
The results of the research and the acoustics data of the Galata, Yenikapi and Bahariye Mevlevi Lodges will be presented
in this paper.
