• The Future of Work
There is mounting speculation in Britain and elsewhere about the changing nature
of paid and unpaid employment. However, as yet there is little rigorous empirical
employment structures and social relations in and beyond the workplace.
• Understanding the Evolving Macro-economy
This two-phase programme aims to improve understanding of economic growth
and fluctuations, and economic policy – its design, governance and practice.
Although in the past such issues have been largely the preserve of economists
using macro-economic models, new tools will also be developed and a broader
perspective adjusted as to include insights from other disciplines.
