1. Review inventory of Owner Furnished, Contractor Installed Signs.
2. Review and finalize construction schedule, verify availability of signs, materials and accessories to
be furnished by Owner, accessories to be furnished by Contractor / Installer and facilities needed
to make progress and avoid delays.
PART 2 - PRODUCTS
2.1 OWNER FURNISHED SIGNS AND ACCESSORIES
A. Owner will supply signs, fastening devices and accessories as indicated on Drawings and herein. Sign
types consist of:
1. Interior Identifying Devices (Room Signs) as indicated on Drawings.
2. Interior Panel Signs as indicated and as directed by Owner.
3. Illuminated Panel Signs as indicated and as directed by Owner.
2.2 PANEL SIGNS
A. Interior Panel Signs as indicated and as directed by Owner:
1. Polycarbonate Interior Identifying Devices as defined in the FedEx Criteria Documents Manual,
Sections C1031 through C1033. and other standard FedEx signage.
2. Miscellaneous Polycarbonate Interior Communication Devices as required by FedEx, OSHA and
other regulatory agencies.
B. Exterior Panel Signs as indicated and as directed by Owner.
C. Illuminated Signs as indicated and as directed by Owner.
D. Tactile and Braille Signs.
2.3 ACCESSORIES
A. Anchors and Inserts: As provided by Owner or Owner’s Signage Fabricator.
PART 3 - EXECUTION
3.1 INSTALLATION
A. Locate signs and accessories where indicated, using mounting methods of types described and complying
with manufacturer's written instructions.
1. Install signs level, plumb, and at heights indicated, with sign surfaces free of distortion and other
defects in appearance.
2. Interior Wall Signs: Install signs on walls adjacent to latch side of door where applicable. Where
not indicated or possible, such as double doors, install signs on nearest adjacent walls. Locate to
