Furnish and install a split system air conditioner utilizing outdoor condenser and indoor evaporator. Outdoor unit shall contain sufficient R-410A refrigerant to completely charge system. The condenser shall be equipped with a rotary compressor and external brass service valves and charging port. The outdoor condenser shall have a capillary tube metering device located internally. Evaporator and condenser coils shall be constructed with aluminum slit fins mechanically bonded to copper tubes. The system shall bear the ARI Certification symbol and shall be listed by ETL Testing Laboratories, Inc. Indoor unit shall be wall mounted. B. Provide microprocessor control. C. System shall be complete and shall include an integral condensate pump, shut off valves, charging valve, filter-dryer, sight glass, and expansion valve, Outdoor units to have “Seacoast Protection” option, (i.e., a “Blygold-Houston” protective coating on the outdoor unit coils). D. The system shall be single zone as indicated on the Drawings, and shall be as manufactured by Mitsubishi Electric Corp. or similar by Sanyo Electric. PART 3 - EXECUTION 3.1 ROOFTOP HEAT TRANSFER EQUIPMENT A. Install new filters after start-up. B. Perform miscellaneous wiring, including communication wiring, not specifically shown on the Division 16, Electrical Drawings in order that units and field installed accessories operate in accordance with the manufacturer's intentions.
