Working with Channel Levels (Cont)<br />

Press [BUMP MODE] to see the current setting. These appear in the centre LCD (consoles<br />

with 3 LCD displays) or left LCD (consoles with 2 LCD displays) as labels above the soft keys,<br />

or on the LCD of 300 Series consoles.<br />

Press [BUMP MODE] again to return to normal operation.<br />

The right three soft keys {KEYS ON}, {KEYS OFF}, {KEYS LATCH} determine the operation<br />

of the submaster bump keys and have no effect on the {BUMP} softkey<br />

The left three soft keys ({FLASH}, {SOLO}, {FLASH + SOLO}) determine what happens when<br />

you press the {BUMP} soft key.A bar above the label shows the current mode. Pressing one of<br />

these three soft keys changes the mode.<br />

{FLASH}<br />

Pressing {BUMP} sets the selected channels to the level set by the Flash Supermaster,<br />

which is normally above the FLASH SUPER label in the centre LCD (consoles with 3<br />

LCD displays) or on submaster 20 (consoles with 2 LCD displays). You can change the<br />

Flash Supermaster to another fader or eliminate it altogether by changing the Function<br />

properties of the submaster faders involved (refer to Submaster). If there is no Flash<br />

Supermaster, the bump level is always 100%.<br />

{SOLO}<br />

Pressing {BUMP} does not effect the selected channels. All other (non-bumped)<br />

channels, as well as effects, cues, and submasters are set to zero. The Flash<br />

Supermaster is ignored.<br />

{FLASH + SOLO}<br />

Pressing {BUMP} sets the selected channels to the level set by the Flash Supermaster.<br />

All other (non-bumped) channels, as well as effects, cues, and submasters, are set to<br />

zero.<br />

chans {BUMP} selects the listed channels and bumps their levels to the level of the<br />

Flash Supermaster while you hold {BUMP}. Releasing {BUMP} restores the previous<br />

levels. To bump the current selection, omit chan.{BUMP} is a soft key on the LCD Live<br />

menu.<br />

Leaves the existing selection unchanged but bumps its levels.<br />
