Console Reporter
Console Time
An add-on software package designed to monitor the status of all compatible
patched dimmers and dimmer racks and to alert the operator when a fault
condition occurs.
The date and time used by the console for all time-related operations. Set-up in
the Show Setup Screen
Cross Fade (XF)
A cue which fades all channels (including channels that are recorded off) to the
given levels. A Cross Fade cue can only have one part. Abbreviated as XF. This is
the default fade type for GeniusPro consoles when Cue Tracking is OFF.
Cue
A recorded lighting state plus fade times which can be played back on an X
playback.Cues can be numbered as an integer number from 1 to 999 (Cue 0 is the
Blackout cue). However, in order to permit cues to be inserted between integer
numbers decimal-numbered cues can also be used (e.g., Cue 2.1). The maximum
number of cues depends on the number of cue parts (see Cue Parts). Also called a
Preset. See also , Cross Fade, and Move Fade
All cues, can have up to 12 parts numbered from 1 to 12. Each cue consists of a
minimum of 1 part (e.g., Cue 1 Part 1, Cue 3.2 part 12, etc). If a part number is
not specified using the {PART} softkey when recording a cue, part 1 is
automatically assumed. When a cue is run, all parts of the cue are run together.
The total number of cue parts is 2000 maximum. (See also Cue Types)
An optional action taken automatically when a cue is run.
A listing of the cues currently recorded.
This is the general term given to macros which can be triggered indirectly, rather
than by direct macro keys or commands. Sources include: Cue sheet, timecode
events, 510i bump inputs and local fader control, MIDI, external submasters,
audio input, remote trigger, and optional macro tablet.
A cue recording mode where a channel level set in a cue is added automatically to
later cues without having to edit each one.
Determines how the console treats unchanging channel levels when running a
cue. See Move Fades, Cross Fade and All Fade (GeniusPro) or Tracking Cues,
Hard Block Cues and Softblock Cues (Lightpalette)
The channels or outputs which are being controlled by the Channel Control.
These are shown with a red or purple background on the display.
