Grandmaster Group<br />

The current channel selection can be temporarily set to the Flash level or off (0%)<br />

without affecting other channels.The Flash Level is set by the Flash Supermaster.<br />

The submaster fader controls the level for bumps and flashes. Only one submaster<br />

can be the Flash Supermaster. If no submaster is assigned as the Flash<br />

Supermaster, channels and submasters always flash to Full.<br />

A cue which runs automatically via a wait time in the previous cue. See also wait<br />

time.<br />

An intensity channel level of 100%, shown as FL. A channel at Full is always on.<br />

This does not apply to attribute channels.<br />

A fader that masters all the intensity output levels. Attribute channels are not<br />

affected by this.<br />

A special group containing “flag” channels (values can only be off or FL) used to<br />

determine which channels are affected by each grandmaster fader. The group is<br />

always active.<br />

Levels Screen<br />

A <strong>Lightpalette</strong> cue type which records explicit levels for every channel in the<br />

system, so that any changes made to cues before the cue will track only up to the<br />

cue. Once the selected channels are matched to the previous cue they are once<br />

again blocked. The next time you change a channel in a previous cue, it will again<br />

be blocked by the cue. To allow tracking through a Hard Block Cue you need to<br />

change it into a Soft Block Cue or a Tracking cue. See also Soft Block Cue and<br />

Tracking Cue.<br />

Highest takes precedence. If more than one source of control affects a channel,<br />

the channel level is set to the one with the highest level. See also LTP.<br />

A channel type as set up in the Patch. This controls the intensity (light) level of a<br />

fixture. Also see Full, on, off, on At 0, on level.<br />

Liquid Crystal Display; a type of display. The number of LDSs is dependant on<br />

the console model number, i.e., 510 - 1LCD, 520 - 2LCDs, 530 - 3 LCDs, 550 - 3<br />

LCDs<br />

The screen (or screens in systems with more than two screens) that shows channel<br />

intensity and attribute levels. See also State screen.<br />
