Additional software features on version v2b6<br />

- UPDATE now works with Effect Step levels. Optional leading<br />

channel list is supported. By default effect update assumes<br />

- Access Rights - can not run FXs if not allowed to do playback.<br />

- Remap of last Sub Bump key no longer sticks on.<br />

- UPDATE AMOD CUE a THRU b puts the 'new' light the correct<br />

part.<br />

- 'chan@level QONLY' in parts of cues >p1 sets the used bit<br />

correctly in the next cue.<br />

- If chan.1 unpatched - chan summary no longer shows all<br />

attributes as unpatched.<br />

- Option to allow record/update pre Inhibit subs & grand masters.<br />

- Option to not have seperate Preview cue, on entry to preview use<br />

'current' cue.<br />

- Password number of Attributes increased on CI build of sw:<br />

To reset the panel configuration after adding or removing fader<br />

panels, proceed as follows:<br />

With all panels connected to the command module, press<br />

{ADV SETUP} then {PANEL SETUP}.This will<br />

cause each fader panel to display its fader number by<br />

illuminating the number of LEDs in red on the left-hand side of<br />

the top row of the fader panel according to its fader number (1<br />

- 7). For instance, fader number 3 will illuminate three LEDs.<br />

You can change the fader panel number by pressing one of<br />

the first 7 bump keys on the on the top row of the fader panel.<br />

For instance, to change a fader panel to Fader 3, press the<br />

third bump key from the left on the top row<br />

Once you have reset the panel configuration, yoy must press<br />

{SAVE} to save the new panel configuration. After pressing<br />

{SAVE} you will require to shutdown and restart the console.<br />

If you have removed one or more fader panels, you most<br />

clear the configuration by pressin {CLEAR}. This will<br />

extinguish all the LEDs and reset all faders in the 220node.cfg<br />

file to 00.<br />

You can then set the panel fader numbers using the bump<br />

keys as previously described.<br />

Press {SAVE} and shutdown and restart the console..<br />

To leave the 'Orders' Menu, press the {BACK} softkey.<br />

Conventions Used in This Document<br />

The following conventions are used throughout this document.<br />

[CUE] The console keys. This example shows the key labelled CUE.<br />

The display keys. These are above the right LCD on the<br />

console and are shown in italics to distinguish them from other keys<br />

with the same name. (The LCDs are the three small display areas<br />

across the centre of the console.)<br />

{BACK} The console soft keys; these are the row of 4 or 6 unmarked<br />

keys whose function can change depending on what you are doing.<br />

This example shows the soft key labelled BACK.<br />

wheel Level Wheel movement.<br />

trackball Trackball movement.<br />

fader Fader movement.<br />

Bump 1 A submaster bump button.<br />

Direct Entry 1 Digit A channel level entry in Direct Entry 1 Digit<br />

format.<br />

Direct Entry 2 Digit A channel level entry in Direct Entry 2 Digit<br />

format.<br />

Command Line A channel level entry in Command Line format.<br />

# Used in syntax or field descriptions as a place holder for a number.<br />

The # symbol is never actually entered<br />

Important Note:<br />

Throughout this manual, references to trackball should be taken<br />

as a generic term covering the series 500 trackball or<br />

Intellimouse Trackball.<br />

The <strong>Strand</strong> Logo key on 300 Series consoles is equivalent to the<br />

[SHIFT] key on 500 Series consoles. References to the [SHIFT]<br />

key in this manual apply equally to the <strong>Strand</strong> Logo key.<br />
