2 Click Add. You will proceed to the Facility Core Information screen.
3 Enter the Facility Type and Location.
OR
Right-click or press F9 from within the field to select them from the picklist. If you have not yet added your Facility
type or location, you will proceed to the Facility Type and Facility Location Core Information screens. These
screens allow you to add the new Facility type and location "on the fly."
Then, enter an ID.
4 Click Next. Complete all other fields or leave their default settings. Press F1 for field-level Help as needed.
5 Click Next. You will proceed to the Features/Other screen.
6 Complete all fields or leave their default settings. Press F1 for field-level Help as needed.
7 Click Next. You will proceed to the Fees/Charges screen.
8 Complete all fields or leave their default settings. Press F1 for field-level Help as needed.
9 Click Done. You will return to the Facility Maintenance Browser screen where your new facility will be added to
the browser box.
10 Click Exit to return to the Main Menu.
Setting Up a Facility Tree
Establishing Memorial Park as a Parent Facility
1 Go to Files � Facility � Facility Tree Maintenance. You will proceed to the Facility Tree Maintenance screen.
2 In the Current Facility field, select the parent facility.
3 Using the Facility Listing browser box, highlight the first facility that you wish to link to the current facility as a child
facility.
For this example, lets say the Soccer field at Memorial Park.
4 Click the Add>> button to the left of the Children Facility browser box.
5 Using the Facility Listing browser box, highlight the next facility that you wish to link to the current facility as a
child facility.
For this example, lets say the Pool at Memorial Park.
6 Click the Add>> button to the left of the Children Facility browser box.
6 Typically you would repeat steps 3 and 4 for every facility that you wish to link as a child to the current facility.
Establishing the Soccer Field as the Baseball Field's Overlap Sibling
1 Click Next Facility. The focus will to return to the Current Facility field.
2 Select the first child facility established in steps 1 through 6 above.
Using the example above, this would be the Soccer field.
3 The Parent Facility defaults to the parent established in steps 1 through 6 above.
Using the example above, this would be Memorial Park.
4 Using the Facility Listing browser box, highlight the first facility that you wish to link to the current facility as an
overlap sibling.
For this example, you will highlight the Baseball field.
5 Click the Add>> button to the left of the Overlap Siblings browser box.
6 Typically you would repeat steps 4 and 5 for every facility that you wish to link as an overlap sibling to the current
facility.
For this example, no other facilities will be linked to the Soccer field as overlap siblings.
Establishing the Pool as the Parent Facility to the Lanes and Diving Well
1 Click Next Facility. Your focus will return to the Current Facility field.
2 Select the Pool as the Current Facility.
3 The Parent Facility defaults to the parent established.
Using the example above, this would be Memorial Park.
