of construction, city, history, society etc
Why is it that consensus on the production
of space fails more often when a reconstruction
has been proposed Why, on the
other hand, do conflicts on these projects
show social cleavages more clearly than
hardly any other development project
To reduce the complexity of this research,
the idea of a “wave” is used. As in natural
science, the wave of reconstruction is
first integrated into a simple chronological
model of the reconstruction process.
Based on this, it is possible to explore the
background for the emergence of the reconstruction
idea. This allows a description
of the process, its discussions and
projects. Finally, the professional reflections
and debates about reconstruction
can be analysed.
