Study on `Impact of Restructuring of SEBs’
MPSEB/MPPTCL shall be taken care of by the newly established power trading
company. The MP Tradeco has been established on 03 June 2006 with its
Headquarters at Jabalpur.

MPPTCL has accorded priority to strengthening of the T&D system in order to reduce
T&D losses and to provide quality and reliable power to consumers and hence, post-
2002, works of more than Rs 1,200 crore have been implemented and other proposals
are being put up for financial assistance.
