As per FRP formulated under power sector reforms, Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Uptadan
Nigam had sold its entire electricity generated to RRVPNL on no profit no loss basis
till 31 March 2004. Consequent to enactment of the EA, 2003, RRVUNL has been
selling power after 1 April 2004 directly to three DISCOMs, i.e., Jaipur, Ajmer and
Jodhpur in the pre-assigned ratio of 36:36:28 respectively on no profit no loss basis.
As per the revised FRP, this policy of no profit no loss shall be adopted till March,
2009.
