If there are several identical spot colors with different names, for
example, all of them can be mapped to a single spot color.
You can always select another original or replacement color by clicking
on the color boxes to the right of SELECTED COLOR.
4. Use the list underneath OVERPRINT to define that the color should
• always overprint (YES),
• always knock out (NO), or
• overprint or knock out, depending on the overprint settings
defined in the file (MAINTAIN). This includes overprint settings
made in ORIS PDF Tuner when importing PDF, EPS or PS files.
Note:
Modifications to process color overprint settings apply only to pure
process colors or to mixed colors with identical overprint mode for all
color separations.

5. In ORIS Works you can define how to handle spot colors for which no
modification rule has been set up. Use the lists underneath ALL SPOT
COLORS NOT LISTED ABOVE for this purpose.
The spot colors can be left unchanged, omitted or replaced with their
CMYK equivalents. You can also make overprint settings.
Frequently used commands are available in a context menu (Windows
only). Right-click on the list of modification rules to open this menu.
Standardize Pantone and HKS names
Enable this option to map all Pantone and HKS spot color names to valid
naming conventions.
You can also define a default suffix for Pantone and HKS colors, in case
colors of different spot color libraries are used on a page.
Note:
These functions apply to the standard Pantone and HKS color names
only. User-defined spot color names have to be mapped manually by
defining individual replacement rules on this dialog tab. The color names
must first be entered into the file Private.osc.
