Fonts available on your system:
• PostScript font
• Ikarus font
• TrueType font
Font embedded in document
Embedded font subset
(prefixed with an arbitrary string)
Note:
ORIS PDF Tuner supports Type-0 composite fonts (Asian fonts) such as
Morisawa, Fontworks, Biblos, Dynalab, Sinotype and Hanyi. If you want
to use such fonts, contact CGS for detailed instructions on entering text.
Font size
Enter a font size into the FONT SIZE box. The unit of measurement can
be entered into the same box or selected from the list at the right.
You can also use the TEXT EDITOR toolbar to define the font size.
Font width relation
Use the FONT WIDTH RELATION box to change the font width. This parameter
indicates the ratio of font width and font size (height). Enter e.g. 2 to
double the font width or 0.5 to set it to half the size. The default setting 1
leaves the font width unchanged.
Italic angle
Enter an angle into the ITALIC ANGLE box to produce italicized text. Typically,
italicized text is slanted by 10 or 12 degrees.
Kerning
Enter a value into the KERNING box to adjust the amount of space between
a selected character and the character that follows. Positive values
increase space, negative values decrease it and 0 leaves the space
unchanged. The unit of measurement is 0.005 (1/200) em space.
Kerning can also be adjusted using the TEXT EDITOR toolbar.
Style
Check the boxes you want in order to apply the styles to the selected
characters or to all characters entered subsequently. The styles are explained
below.
