Selecting Colors
Note:
All over the ORIS PDF Tuner program colors are selected in the same
way. The Color Selection dialog allows you to
• define colors by specifying CMYK, CIE Lab, HSB, RGB and grayscale
values
• select spot colors
• store colors in a color palette and select them from there
• pick colors from a layout or image
• add/subtract colors and change color density
When the COLOR SELECTION dialog is displayed for an image, the color
representation is adjusted to the image’s color space, i.e., the color boxes
may look slightly different for CMYK and RGB images.
The ORIS PDF Tuner software includes a number of PANTONE® 1 and
HKS® spot color systems. Refer to page 32-9 for a complete list.

Selecting Colors from Palette
To select a predefined color from the palette click on one of the palette
boxes. The COLOR SELECTION dialog closes automatically.
If you want to modify this color (e.g. using the sliders), you can also drag
it to the color selection box (the large box at the bottom).
