3. Use the button to toggle between the following settings:
• Symmetrical corners (button not depressed) – Corner length Y
is set automatically to the value of corner length X.
• Asymmetrical corners (button depressed) – You can specify
different values for the two corner lengths.
4. Modify the corner lengths X and Y by doing one of the following:
• Move the handle which changes the corner lengths. This handle
appears near the selected corner (see Fig. 7-2).
If you have selected asymmetrical corners, corner length X can
be modified by horizontal movements and corner length Y by vertical
movements (or vice versa).
• Enter the values into the boxes labeled or , respectively.
Changing Corner Lengths: Example
Using the and parameters you can define the size of a corner.
Here is an example of a rectangle with rounded corners.

Changing Rectangle Width and Height
Do one of the following:
• Move the handles on the rectangle corners (see Fig. 7-2).
• Enter the width into the box and the height into the box.
• Enter new coordinates into the P1 and P2 boxes.
