Saving Layers as a New Layout
You can save selected layers as a new layout, e.g. in order to include
them in another layout.
Note:
1. Activate all layers you want to save (see page 16-1).
2. Select SAVE SELECTION in the MENU window. The SAVE AS dialog appears.
The name of the new layout defaults to Parts of .DDP, where
is the name of the original layout.
3. Select a directory and change the default name (if required).
To insert the saved layers into another ORIS PDF Tuner layout, use FILE
| INSERT LAYOUT (see also page 5-4).
Hiding and Displaying Layers
You can hide all layers of a specific type, e.g. all dummy text layers. The
layers disappear from the screen, but are not deleted. To hide layers, select
the appropriate function on the VIEW | VIEW LAYERS submenu. Reselect
the function to display the layers again.
You can select the following layer types:
• IMAGES
• TINTS
• GRADIENTS
• FILTERS (see page 15-1)
• DUMMY TEXT
A check mark appears next to these functions if layers of the corresponding
type are displayed. These settings apply to all open layouts.
However, layouts which are currently inactive are not updated automatically
– you must first press F5. Opening a layout or creating a new layout
resets these settings, i.e. all layers are displayed again.
