Setting Window Background Colors

Setting Window Background Colors
On Windows systems you can choose between different grayscales and
patterns for the window background. This is the area displayed around
the actual window contents. Separate grayscales and patterns can be
selected for layout, image and image overview windows.
To set window background colors, select FILE | SYSTEM SETUP | WINDOW
BACKGROUND. The WINDOWS BACKGROUND dialog appears.

‘Windows Background’ Dialog
Use this dialog to select a background color for layouts, images or the
image overview. The changes are applied immediately. You can choose
between the following colors and patterns:
White brush
Light gray brush
Gray brush
Dark gray brush
Black brush
Horizontal hatch
Vertical hatch
Upward hatch (45°)
Downward hatch (45°)
Horizontal and vertical crosshatch
Crosshatch (45°)
Note:
This function does not affect the simulation of paper white on the screen.
Open a CMYK image and select the FILE | SYSTEM SETUP | CMYK RE-
PRESENTATION function for this purpose (see page 31-1).
