Deleting Gradation Points
To delete a point of a gradation curve, drag it beyond the borders of the
curve’s display area with the mouse button pressed down.

Changing Gradations in ‘Effect’ Mode
In the EFFECT mode you can draw any kind of curve and also set single
dots. When you select this mode, a linear curve appears.
You can draw lines with the mouse button pressed down. To create a single
dot, click or enter the coordinates into the boxes at the bottom of the
COLOR GRADATION window. Press TAB after each input.
New points replace existing points that have the same horizontal position.
To visualize this, draw a horizontal line and then a broken horizontal
line above the first one. The dots created by the broken line disappear
from the continuous line (see the figure below).
Using the AVERAGE function in the COLOR GRADATION window you can
average the specified lines and points and thus achieve smoother color
transitions. To visualize this, select AVERAGE repeatedly. In the above ex-
