Positioning Cut-outs (‘in the Foreground’)
A ‘foreground image’ is a cut-out positioned on a layout in a way that it
is not clipped by another layer.
1. Create a Mask
2. Place it on Layout
3. Position and Resize Image
To move, hold mouse button pressed down.
To scale down, use handles or toolbar:
• Click into X* or Y* box, then position cursor on
layout and move mouse downwards while
holding SHIFT pressed down – or
• Enter scaling factor into X* or Y* box.
Note:
You can also position a cut-out into another layer so that it is clipped by
this layer. Such cut-outs are referred to as mixground images.
