Meaning of Dialog Columns
Note:
Color
Each linework color is identified by a unique number which is displayed
in this column.
Color #1 is the linework’s background color. It is usually white and all four
separations are transparent. This color is protected. This means that its
transparency cannot be changed and if you modify it, a new color table
entry will be created automatically.
C, M, Y, K
CMYK values of linework color
(Spot color)
A separate column appears for each spot color included in the linework.
The number indicates the color density (e.g. 100%).
Transparency
C, M, Y, K Transparent process color separations
T, T... Transparent spot color separation (refers to the spot
colors in the order in which they are listed in the dialog)
Same Color
Number of a color with the same CMYK and transparency values
Used in LW
• Yes: The color is actually used on the linework
• No: Although defined, the color is not used on the linework
Tip:
You can remove identical and unused colors from the linework color table
by reorganizing it. This is particularly required if the maximum of 255
colors is reached. For more details see page 26-9.
