With composite image
When creating DCS documents enable the WITH COMPOSITE IMAGE option
to generate a composite version of the document for output on color
printers. Enter the resolution into the COMPosite IMAGE RESolution box.
The maximum resolution of the composite image is the output resolution,
higher values are ignored.
OPI
Use the OPI parameter to omit images from the output document and/or
create OPI comments. The following settings are available:
• NO OPI COMMENTS
No images are omitted and no OPI comments are created.
• WITH IMAGES
No images are omitted, but OPI comments are created.
• OMIT IMAGES
All images are omitted and OPI comments are created. This applies
to all image formats supported by ORIS (see page 20-1).
• OMIT IMAGES & PAGE EPS
Like OMIT IMAGES, but Page EPS files are also omitted. These are
EPS files containing more than just an image (see also page 20-21).
Also select the OPI VERSION to be used. Make sure this version is supported
by the program that will process the OPI comments.
Note:
You should not use the OPI functionality if your images are transparent,
soft-edged, trapped or located below elements with such attributes or
below filter layers (see page 17-1, page 3-53 and 15-1).
Image parts modified by such attributes cannot be omitted. When the images
are later replaced by high-res images, these image parts can only
be calculated on the basis of the low-res images.

Flat PS only
Separated output
Enable this option for separated output, disable it for composite output.
Only separations which are actually used will be created. All of the four
process color separations are created, however, if an ORIS PDF Tuner
layout contains elements with transparency or soft edges.
