Transferring Image Transformations
The current transformation of an image can be stored and then applied
to another image in order to place it at exactly the same position and to
scale, rotate, mirror or distort it in exactly the same way.
This allows you, for example, to automatically combine a background
image with a cut-out of the same image as shown in the figure below.
For more details refer to How to Overlap Background Images (page
11-14).

How to Transfer Transformations
Activate the image layer whose transformations you want to transfer
(see page 16-1). Then click , press F2 or select EDIT | SAVE VALUE.
The next step depends on whether the image exists already on the layout.
If the image to be transformed does not yet exist:
1. Insert the image into the layout (see page 11-1). The transformations
are automatically applied to the new image.
2. You can then move, scale, rotate, distort etc. both layers together using
the e.g. the handles or the TRANSFORMATIONS toolbar.
If the image to be transforms exists already:
1. Select the image layer, then select CORRECT in the MENU window.
2. Click , click SHIFT+F2 or select EDIT | APPLY VALUE to apply the
transformations.
Annotations
If the image is not visible, it may be hidden by other layers. In this case
press RETURN/ENTER to display the MENU window, then select INSERT
SELECTION and TOP LAYER to place it on top of all other layers.
Background and mixground images may also be invisible because they
are outside their restricting mask or path (see also page 11-1).
