Importing PDF and PostScript Files

PDF, EPS and PS files can be checked for the following deficiencies:
Missing Fonts
The program checks whether the document uses fonts that cannot be
found, because they are neither available on your computer nor embedded
in your document.

RGB Data

The program checks whether the document uses images, tints, text and
other elements defined in the RGB color space.
This option also checks for RGB images which were converted to CMYK
by QuarkXPress. This check can only be made if the PostScript file originating
from QuarkXPress contains OPI comments.
Note:
The colors of RGB images separated automatically by QuarkXPress are
usually of poor quality. The Quark CMS XTension, however, allows you
to prevent this automatic separation or to control it using ICC profiles.
Lab images
The program checks whether the document uses images defined in the
CIE Lab color space.
Embedded ICC Profiles
The program checks if PDF files contain objects defined in an ICC-based
color space.
Use of Hairlines
The program checks whether the document contains objects defined as
hairlines.

Overprinting White Tints
The program checks whether the document contains any overprinting
white tints. This check is not made for register and bleed marks.
