Replacing Imported PDF/PS/EPS Files
The last PDF, PostScript or EPS document imported into an ORIS PDF
Tuner layout can be replaced by another PDF/PS/EPS document. Proceed
as follows:
1. Select the function FILE | REPLACE PDF OR POSTSCRIPT. This opens
the CREATE LAYOUT FROM PDF OR POSTSCRIPT DATA dialog.
2. Select the document to be imported and specify the conversion parameters
(see page 2-2).
3. Having closed the dialog with OK, the last PDF/PS/EPS document is
deleted from the ORIS PDF Tuner layout and the new document is
added.
Marking Layers for Layout Export
When layouts are converted to another format using FILE | EXPORT (see
page 3-1) there are special options for layers you have marked on the
layout such as:
• Marked layers can be omitted from the output document (using the
SELECT tab, see page 3-48).
• Marked images can be omitted from color corrections with ICC profiles
(see page 3-7).
• Marked layers on bleed pages (see page 3-60) are treated differently.
To mark a layer:
1. Activate all layers to be marked (see page 16-1).
2. Select MARK in the MENU window. The letter M appears in the STATUS
window indicating that this layer has been marked.
3. To undo layer marking, reselect the MARK function. M disappears.
