Displaying Color Channels
On Mac OS, the COLOR window also indicates whether the cursor has
snapped to a guide. For more details refer to Snap Area (page 6-2).
Displaying Color Channels

Using the COLOR window (see below) you can hide and display individual
color channels or a combination of channels. Use the following buttons:
Displays a single color channel, switches all other channels off
Displays or hides a color channel.
Use it to display a combination of color channels.
ALL Switches all color channels on.
The selection of color separations always affects the active window.
However, the labels of these check boxes (CMYK, RGB or K) depend
on the window on which the cursor is located.

Use the COLOR VALUES command on the pull-down menu WINDOW (Mac
OS) or VIEW (Windows) to display and hide this window. A check mark
appears next to the function if this window is displayed.
Measuring Colors
Tip:
The colors of the pixel located under the cursor are measured automatically
and the average values are displayed in the COLOR window (see
above).
Color values of active tint and gradient layers are also displayed when
you select the INFO function in the MENU window (see also page 16-19).
