How to Add Image Background (Example)
1. Open the image overview containing
the image to be modified (see
page 20-2).
2. Click once on the image’s thumbnail
representation in order to select
it.
3. Select COPY in the MENU window.
This opens the COPY IMAGE dialog
(see page 20-12).
4. Into the ADDITIONAL SCANLINES:
TOP box enter the number of pixel
lines by which you want to enlarge
the image at its upper edge.
When you leave the dialog, the image
will be copied, thereby being
enlarged at the top edge.
5. Open the image you have copied
(see page 20-6).
The scanlines you have added appear
as a white area at the top of
the image.
6. Click and create a rectangle
which encloses the image area
you want to enlarge.
The rectangle must cover the entire
width. It may exceed the right
and left edges and need not extend
exactly to the top edge of the actual
image.
7. Press F10 or select IMAGE |
RETOUCH to start the retouching
function.
