Transformations
Description of ‘Transformations’ Toolbar

If no toolbar button is pressed and the cursor is not inside an input
box, you can:
• Move the selected objects freely with the mouse
• Resize using the resize handles
• Rotate using the rotation handles
Click on the object to display these handles.
To reverse the last modification use EDIT | UNDO ( +Z/CTRL+Z).
4. To end a function, reselect the toolbar button, click on another button
or in another input box, or click on the layout.
5. To end the transformation mode, press RETURN/ENTER, click , or
select another function, e.g. from the pull-down menu.
To reverse all modifications, click

or press ESC instead.
Move
Moves vertically (X) or horizontally (Y).
Scale by specifying a factor
Scales vertically (X*) or horizontally (Y*) only.
The proportions are maintained if the button on
the right is pressed down.
Scale by specifying width or height
Both and scale proportionally.
Reverse scaling
Objects are scaled to the size they had before the
TRANSFORMATIONS toolbar was opened.
Scale to original size
Images are scaled according to the Expected
Production Resolution (see page 5-10) when
being placed or if the CORRECT function is used.
Rotate ( )
Skew ( )
Inclines objects at an oblique angle.
