4. Choose the color you want using the functions in the MENU window
(e.g. 1. COLOR). For more details refer to Selecting Colors (page
10-8).

6. To brush the color, click inside the rectangle or drag the cursor across
this area. You cannot brush outside the area defined by the rectangle.
Use the and buttons to toggle between painting and erasing.
You can also erase by holding the OPTION key (Mac OS) or CTRL key
(Windows) pressed down.
7. You can save your changes temporarily by selecting FIX CHANGES in
the MENU window. Using UNDO you can undo the last changes (see
page 23-12). You have created a brushed layer.

Brushed Layers Stored as TIFF Images
Internally, ORIS PDF Tuner stores a brushed layer as a TIFF image
which is treated as if positioned in the foreground (see also About ‘Foreground
Images’, page 11-1). The image areas included in the layout are
defined by a mask.
