Using the Path Editor
Modifying Paths
To Mark and Unmark Points
To mark a single point:
1. Activate the point.
2. SHIFT-click on this point to mark it.
If the point is marked already, it will be unmarked.
To mark one or several points:
Hold SHIFT and the mouse button pressed down and draw a selection
rectangle around these points.
All points within this rectangle are marked and the active point becomes
inactive. If a path contains marked points, all other points of
this path are displayed, too.
To mark all points of a path:
1. If there is more than one path, select the path you want (see above).
2. SHIFT-click the path to be edited.
3. If there aren’t any marked points, all points of this path will be marked.
Otherwise, all points will be unmarked.
Modifying Paths
Moving Points
When you move a point, all marked points of all paths move as well, the
other points remain at their current position. To move one or several
points:
1. Mark all points you want to move (see above).
2. Position the cursor on one of the points to be moved.
3. Hold SHIFT and the mouse button pressed down and drag the points
to their new position.
When you move an end point on top of another end point of the same
path, the path will be closed. If the end points belong to different paths,
the two paths will be connected. If you move a point on top of a neighboring
point, it will be deleted.
Fixing Points
You can fix points at their current position. When you move points, fixed
points do not move although they are marked. However, fixed points can
