Using Images
Getting Information on Images
There are different ways of getting information about images used in
ORIS PDF Tuner:
• Information about image opened in a window
The information is displayed in the STATUS window to the left of the
image.
• Information about image in overview
Click once on a thumbnail image to have the information displayed in
the STATUS window.
• Information about all images in overview
Select LIST in the MENU window to display a list of all images contained
in the current image overview.
• Information about image layer on layout
Activate the image layer. The information is displayed in the LAYER
INFO window (see page 16-18). You can also select the INFO function
in the MENU window to have additional image information displayed
in the STATUS window.
• Information about all images on a layout
Select IMAGES | LIST to display a list of all images and masks used on
the current layout.
Note that the type of information differs according to the way it is retrieved
(see below).

Image format and color space
• BW: grayscales
• HS: Scitex Handshake
• PAGE EPS: EPS file with more than one element
• SPOTCOLOR/EPS: CT image with spot colors
