Preventing Text Displacement
1. Activate the text layer that should not be displaced (see page 16-1).
You can only use text which is set into a path (see page 12-2).
2. Select DISPLACE in the MENU window. A dialog appears (see below).
3. Enable the TEXT LAYER WILL NOT BE DISPLACED option.
4. Select OK to leave the dialog.
New text displacements will have no effect on this text layer and existing
text displacements are reversed.

Status Display for Text Runarounds
The STATUS window of an active layer provides information about text
displacement. This information is displayed in the lower part, below
DISPLACE.
For displacing layers:
Displacement mode: NONE, RECTANGLE, BOUNDING BOX or CONTOUR
Distance between text and displacing layer in millimeters - or
Left distance (if distances are different at the four rectangle sides)
For text or dummy text layers:
NORMAL: Displacing this layer is possible
LOCKED: Displacing this layer is not possible.
Using Text Paths
Usually text is corrected by activating the text layer and selecting COR-
RECT TEXT in the MENU window. Alternatively, or if the CORRECT TEXT
function is unavailable, you can modify the paths defining the outline of
the text characters and then insert color into these paths. This allows you
e.g. to edit text belonging to different layers.
