Chernogolovka.
Founded in 1983 from some subdivisions of the Solid State Physics Institute. It is subordinate
to the Information Science, Computer Technology and Automation
Department of the RAS. Its scientists conduct experiments in extensive purification
of substances in electronics. Since 1989, its Director has been Vitalii V. Aristov, D.
