research on <strong>the</strong> composition <strong>of</strong> marine foam, methods <strong>of</strong> extracting minerals from<br />

sea water, and researches <strong>the</strong> crystal structures <strong>of</strong> rare metal fluorides.<br />

Kalinnikov, Vladimir T., D. Chem. S. Born in 1935. Chairman <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Kola Affiliate<br />

since 1985. Corresponding member since <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Physical Chemistry and<br />

Technology <strong>of</strong> Inorganic Materials Department <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>Academy</strong> since December<br />

1987. He is Direc<strong>to</strong>r <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Chemistry and Technology <strong>of</strong> Rare Elements and<br />

Mineral Raw Materials Institute in Apatitii. He is currently serving as a member <strong>of</strong><br />

<strong>the</strong> Bureau governing body <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Physical Chemistry and Technology <strong>of</strong> Inorganic<br />

Khol’kin, Ana<strong>to</strong>lii I., D. Chem. S. Born in 1937. Inorganic chemist. Corresponding<br />

member <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Physical Chemistry and Technology <strong>of</strong> Inorganic Materials<br />

Department and <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Siberian Department <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>Academy</strong> since December 1987.<br />

He graduated from <strong>the</strong> Leningrad Polytechnic Institute in 1960. From 1962 <strong>to</strong><br />

1980, he researched in <strong>the</strong> Inorganic Chemistry Institute <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Siberian Department<br />

<strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> academy, moving from an aspirant, a junior and senior researcher. In 1980,<br />

he joined <strong>the</strong> Chemistry and Chemical Technology Institute <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Siberian<br />

Department, as its Deputy Direc<strong>to</strong>r and in 1981, he became Direc<strong>to</strong>r <strong>of</strong> that institute.<br />

Since 1982, he has been a pr<strong>of</strong>essor at <strong>the</strong> Krasnoyarsk State <strong>University</strong>, holding<br />

<strong>the</strong> chair <strong>of</strong> inorganic and organic chemistry. He is a leading member <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />

Scientific Coordinating Council. He received <strong>the</strong> State Laureate Prize in 1986.<br />

Kres<strong>to</strong>v, Gennadii A., D. Tech. S. Born in 1931. Corresponding member <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />

Physical Chemistry and Technology <strong>of</strong> Inorganic Materials Department <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />

<strong>Academy</strong> since 1981. Since 1981, he has been Direc<strong>to</strong>r <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Chemistry <strong>of</strong><br />

Nonaqueous Solutions Institute at Ivanovo, which is subordinate <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> Physical<br />

Chemistry and Technology <strong>of</strong> Inorganic Materials department <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>Academy</strong>. It<br />

was established in 1981 and studies <strong>the</strong> chemical and dyeing processes <strong>of</strong> non<br />

aqueous solutions.<br />

Lidorenko, Nikolai S., D. Tech. S. Born in 1916 in Kursk. <strong>Russian</strong> scientist in<br />

electrical and power engineering. Corresponding member <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Physical Technical<br />

Problems <strong>of</strong> Power Engineering Department <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>Academy</strong> since 1966. He also<br />

holds membership in <strong>the</strong> General Physics and Astronomy Department and in <strong>the</strong><br />

Physical Chemistry and Technology <strong>of</strong> Inorganic Materials Department <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />

<strong>Academy</strong>. He graduated from <strong>the</strong> Novocherkassk Polytechnic Institute in 1940.<br />

Since 1950, He has been <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Current Sources Scientific Research Institute in<br />
