Abstract<br />

Growing power of human in health has the <strong>ve</strong>ry important place within the expected<br />

quality from health services. Establishing and working a management system<br />

accepted and supported by all population and nourished not only the purpose<br />

of increasing individual activity and efficiency, but also organizational activity<br />

and efficiency is <strong>ve</strong>ry important. Performance is an important subject in terms of<br />

administrator in organizations and is a solution of employee’s working behaviour.<br />

Considering nurse’s mission and authority in hospital, nurse’s performance comes<br />

into question at patient treatment services and hospital management at global<br />

dimension in recent years. Number of nurses per bed is one of the important and<br />

determining criterions of clinical care quality in hospitals. In Turkey, there is 0.5<br />

nurse per ped, on the other hand this rate is 0.62 in Tayvan, 7,9 in Japan. It has<br />

seen that nurses working in our cuntry is <strong>ve</strong>ry few when comparing these countries.<br />

This rate demonstrates patients’ health protection and promotion and requirement<br />

of disscussing necessity of a health service wanted quality activities. In this concept<br />

occuring an effecti<strong>ve</strong> performance and quality management is quite important in<br />

terms of service gi<strong>ve</strong>n and service taker.<br />

In the study it is presented hospital performance criterions and nurse’s performance<br />

analysis in<strong>ve</strong>stigating in detail who is working various countries hospitals in global<br />

dimension. In the study depending on qualitati<strong>ve</strong> model, made SWOT analysis and<br />

exhibited all partners’ conditions.<br />

As a result of SWOT analysis, nurses performance systems, far away the idividual<br />

relationships and practice of working condition, affecting their performance positi<strong>ve</strong>ly,<br />

with administrating the system with fault, it is stated nurses performance decrease.<br />

Nurse is responsible to ensure the most quality care, health protection and health<br />

promotion for e<strong>ve</strong>ry person. To get information and ability in peculiar to nurses<br />

practice areas, also ensuring quality guarantee at health services and establishing<br />

wanted quality, practicing performance criterion and equipments efficiently and<br />

bringing these to nurses is important.<br />

1. GİRİŞ<br />

Hemşirelik mesleğinin oldukça zengin bir geçmişi vardır. Modern hemşirelik 19. yy.<br />

ortalarında Florence Nightingale ile başlamıştır. Toplumsal gelişmelere parelel olarak<br />

hemşirelerin sağlık sistemindeki yeri giderek önem kazanacaktır.<br />

Sağlık hizmetlerinin düzeyi, ülkelerin sosyo-ekonomik açıdan gelişmişlik düzeyinin<br />

de bir göstergesi olarak kabul edilmektedir. Sağlık hizmetleri, sunumu, finansmanı,<br />

tedavi süreçleri <strong>ve</strong> paydaşları ile ayrı ayrı analiz edilmesi gereken çok boyutlu <strong>ve</strong><br />
