Planned <strong>Development</strong> – Residential (PD-R) DistrictPD-RP L A N N E DD E V E L O P M E N T -R E S I D E N T I A LA. DISTRICT PURPOSEThe Planned <strong>Development</strong> – Residential (PD-R) District isestablished and intended to encourage the use of innovative andcreative design to provide a mix of different residential uses inclose proximity to one another on mainland <strong>Currituck</strong> <strong>County</strong>,while at the same time providing an efficient use of open space.Limited, small-scale commercial uses may be allowed in the PD-Rdistrict, primarily to serve the needs of residents in thedevelopment.B. DIMENSIONAL STANDARDS C.
