Temporary Use Permit Review StandardsA Temporary Use Permit shall be approved on a finding the applicant demonstratesthe proposed temporary use, temporary structure, or special event complies with therelevant standards in Section 4.4, Temporary Use Standards.E. Effect of <strong>Development</strong> ApprovalApplicable (see Section 2.3.13).F. Amendment of <strong>Development</strong> ApprovalApplicable (see Section 2.3.14).G. Expiration of <strong>Development</strong> ApprovalApproval of a temporary use permit shall be effective beginning on the date ofapproval and shall remain effective for the period indicated in the permit.2.4.12. Floodplain <strong>Development</strong> PermitA. PurposeThe purpose of the floodplain development permit is to establish procedures andstandards for the review of development located within the special flood hazard area,to reduce the potential for damage to property and life from flooding or floodwaters.B. ApplicabilityAll development proposed in the special flood hazard area shall obtain a floodplaindevelopment permit and applicable flood certificates/certifications in accordance withthis section and Section 7.4, Flood Damage Prevention, prior to or concurrent with anapplication for a site plan, building permit, or zoning compliance permit, asappropriate.C. Floodplain <strong>Development</strong> Permit Procedure(1) Pre-Application ConferenceOptional (see Section 2.3.2).(2) Community MeetingNot applicable.(3) Application Submittal and AcceptanceApplicable (see Section 2.3.4).(4) Staff Review and ActionApplicable (see Section 2.3.5).
