An application for a type IIpreliminary plat shall also include an application for a usepermit (see Section 2.4.6, Use Permit).Construction drawings may be submitted concurrently with atype II preliminary plat application, at the applicant’s option.Staff Review and ActionApplicable (see Section 2.3.5). The Technical Review Committee shallreview the application, prepare a staff report, and provide arecommendation on the application in accordance with Section2.4.8.E.4.a, Preliminary Plat Review Standards, and Section 2.4.6.D, UsePermit Review Standards.Public Hearing Scheduling and Public NotificationApplicable (see Section 2.3.6).Public Hearing ProceduresApplicable (see Section 2.3.8).Advisory Body Review and RecommendationApplicable (see Section 2.3.9). The Planning Board, following a publicmeeting, shall make a recommendation on the application inaccordance with the standards in Section 2.3.9, Advisory Body Reviewand Recommendation, Section 2.4.8.E.4.a, Preliminary Plat ReviewStandards, and Section 2.4.6.D, Use Permit Review Standards.Decision-Making Body Review and Decision(i)(ii)Applicable (see Section 2.3.10). The Board of Commissioners,following a quasi-judicial public hearing (Section 2.3.8.C), shalldecide the application in accordance with the standards inSection 2.3.10, Decision-Making Body Review and Decision,Section 2.4.8.E.4.a, Preliminary Plat Review Standards andSection 2.4.6.D, Use Permit Review Standards.The Board of Commissioners may place limitations on thetiming and extent of new development in accordance withSection 6.6, Adequate Public Facility Standards.CURRITUCK COUNTY, NC UNIFIED DEVELOPMENT ORDINANCE2.50
