1 tbsp garbanzo bean /chickpea/gram flour<br />

1/4 tsp marjoram<br />

1 tsp soy sauce<br />

1/4 cup water<br />

Grind the peanuts. Put them in a bowl with the breadcrumbs, gram flour, tomato puree, marjoram and<br />

soy sauce. Add the water and stir well.<br />

Form the mixture into sausage shapes. Heat a little oil in a frying pan and fry the sausages for 5-7<br />

minutes, turning frequently. Serve hot, with a side salad.<br />

Aduki Spread<br />

1/4 cup aduki beans, cooked<br />

1/2 tbsp oil<br />

2 tsp soy sauce<br />

3 tsp tahini<br />

1 tbsp minced parsley<br />

Toast<br />

Drain the beans and put them in a bowl. Mash lightly.<br />

Heat the oil in a saucepan. Add the beans, soy sauce, tahini and parsley. Mix well and cook over a low<br />

heat for 5-7 minutes. stirring occasionally, by which time the mixture should have thickened.<br />

Remove from heat. Serve warm on toast.<br />

6oz very ripe tomatoes<br />

4-6 black olives<br />

1 clove garlic<br />

2 tbsp olive oil<br />

1/4 tsp oregano<br />
