Status Codes<br />

<strong>NetBackup</strong> Status Code: 110<br />

Message: Cannot find the <strong>NetBackup</strong> configuration in<strong>for</strong>mation<br />

Explanation: On <strong>Windows</strong>, <strong>NetBackup</strong> could not read the registry entries that were<br />

created during installation. On UNIX, the /usr/openv/netbackup/bp.conf file does<br />

not exist.<br />

Recommended Action: On <strong>Windows</strong>, reinstall <strong>NetBackup</strong> software on the client. On<br />

UNIX, create a /usr/openv/netbackup/bp.conf file with at least the following lines:<br />

SERVER = server_name<br />

CLIENT_NAME = client_name<br />

<strong>NetBackup</strong> Status Code: 111<br />

Message: No entry was found in the server list<br />

Explanation: On UNIX, the SERVER = server_name line is missing in the bp.conf file.<br />

On <strong>Windows</strong>, the server list contains no entries.<br />

Recommended Action:<br />

◆ On a UNIX client, add the following line to the top of the<br />

/usr/openv/netbackup/bp.conf file:<br />

SERVER = server_name<br />

◆ On a Microsoft <strong>Windows</strong> or nontarget NetWare client, add the server name on the<br />

Servers tab in the Specify <strong>NetBackup</strong> Machines dialog box. To display this dialog,<br />

start the Backup, Archive, and Restore interface on the client and click Specify<br />

<strong>NetBackup</strong> Machines on the Actions menu.<br />

◆ On an OS/2 or NetWare target client, add the server name to the bp.ini file.<br />

◆ On a Macintosh client, add the SERVER = server_name line to the bp.conf file in the<br />

<strong>NetBackup</strong> folder in the Preferences folder.<br />

<strong>NetBackup</strong> Status Code: 112<br />

Message: no files specified in the file list<br />

Explanation: A restore was requested with no files in the file list.<br />

Recommended Action: Specify at least one file to be restored.<br />

<strong>NetBackup</strong> Status Code: 113<br />

Message: EC_badop<br />

Explanation: None<br />
