Status Codes<br />

1. Examine command output (if available), debug logs, and system logs <strong>for</strong> a more<br />

detailed message on the error.<br />

a. If not already enabled, enable debug logging by creating the necessary<br />

directories/folders. Increase the level of verbosity by adding the VERBOSE<br />

option in the vm.conf file and restarting the daemons/services, or execute the<br />

command’s verbose option, if available.<br />

b. Retry the operation and examine the logs.<br />

2. Specify a number of mounts value within the acceptable range of 0 to 2,147,483,647.<br />

Media Manager Status Code: 142<br />

Message: invalid offsite location<br />

Explanation: The offsite location <strong>for</strong> a volume exceeds 25 ASCII characters in length, or<br />

contains unprintable characters.<br />

Recommended Action: When adding or changing a volume record, ensure that the offsite<br />

location field contains only printable characters and does not exceed 25 ASCII characters<br />

in length.<br />

Media Manager Status Code: 143<br />

Message: invalid offsite sent date<br />

Explanation: A request was made to change the offsite sent date <strong>for</strong> one or more volumes<br />

in the volume configuration, and the date specified was not valid.<br />

Recommended Action: When changing the offsite sent date, provide the date in the<br />

<strong>for</strong>mat specified by the Media Management interface documentation.<br />

Media Manager Status Code: 144<br />

Message: invalid offsite return date<br />

Explanation: A request was made to change the offsite return date <strong>for</strong> one or more<br />

volumes in the volume configuration, and the date specified was not valid.<br />

Recommended Action: When changing the offsite return date, provide the date in the<br />

<strong>for</strong>mat specified by the Media Management interface documentation.<br />

Media Manager Status Code: 145<br />

Message: requested drive is already reserved by host<br />
