NBWIN.EXE For <strong>Windows</strong> clients, this is the executable file that starts the<br />

client-user interface on <strong>Windows</strong> systems.<br />

Started By: From the <strong>Windows</strong> Start menu, under Programs/<br />

<strong>NetBackup</strong>.<br />

Stopped By: Exiting the client-user interface.<br />

Debug Log: mmddyy.log file in the NBWIN directory on the<br />

client.<br />

NBNWNT.EXE For NetWare nontarget clients, this is the executable file that<br />

starts the client-user interface on <strong>Windows</strong> systems.<br />

Started By: From the <strong>Windows</strong> Start menu, under Programs/<br />

<strong>NetBackup</strong>.<br />

Stopped By: Exiting the client-user interface.<br />

NBNW95.EXE For NetWare nontarget clients, this is the executable file that<br />

<strong>NetBackup</strong>BPCD A faceless background application installed in the<br />

System:Extensions folder on the startup volume of a<br />

Macintosh client. The Macintosh equivalents of the UNIX<br />

bpbkar and tar commands are merged into <strong>NetBackup</strong>BPCD.<br />

Started By: When <strong>NetBackup</strong>Listen receives a request from a<br />

server it launches <strong>NetBackup</strong>BPCD.<br />
