Status Codes<br />

<strong>NetBackup</strong> Status Code: 191<br />

Message: no images were successfully processed<br />

Explanation: A verify, duplicate, or import was attempted and failed <strong>for</strong> all selected<br />

images.<br />

Recommended Action: Check the <strong>NetBackup</strong> Problems report <strong>for</strong> the cause of the error.<br />

To obtain detailed troubleshooting in<strong>for</strong>mation, create an admin debug log directory and<br />

retry the operation. Check the resulting debug log.<br />

<strong>NetBackup</strong> Status Code: 194<br />

Message: the maximum number of jobs per client is set to 0<br />

Explanation: The <strong>NetBackup</strong> Maximum jobs per client global attribute is currently set to 0.<br />

Setting the value to 0 disables backups and archives.<br />

Recommended Action: To enable backups and archives, change the Maximum jobs per<br />

client value to the desired nonzero setting. This attribute is on the Global <strong>NetBackup</strong><br />

Attributes tab in the Master Server Properties dialog box. See “Using the Host Properties<br />

Window” on page 40.<br />

<strong>NetBackup</strong> Status Code: 195<br />

Message: client backup was not attempted<br />

Explanation: A backup job was in the <strong>NetBackup</strong> scheduler’s worklist but was not<br />

attempted.<br />

Recommended Action:<br />

1. Retry the backup either immediately with a manual backup or allow the normal<br />

scheduler retries.<br />

2. For additional in<strong>for</strong>mation, check the All Log Entries report. For detailed<br />

troubleshooting in<strong>for</strong>mation, create a bpsched debug log directory on the master<br />

server. After the next backup attempt, check the debug log.<br />

Some actions to per<strong>for</strong>m are:<br />

◆ Verify that the <strong>NetBackup</strong> Volume Manager and <strong>NetBackup</strong> Device Manager<br />

services are running.<br />

◆ Look <strong>for</strong> a problem in an earlier backup that made the media or storage unit<br />

unavailable.<br />

<strong>NetBackup</strong> Status Code: 196<br />

Message: client backup was not attempted because backup window closed<br />
