Message: required or specified copy was not found<br />

Explanation: The requested copy number of a backup or archive image cannot be found.<br />

Recommended Action: Correct the request to specify a copy number that does exist.<br />

<strong>NetBackup</strong> Status Code: 148<br />

Message: daemon <strong>for</strong>k failed<br />

Explanation: A <strong>NetBackup</strong> service could not create a child process due to an error<br />

received from the system. This is probably an intermittent error based on the availability<br />

of resources on the system.<br />

Recommended Action:<br />

1. Restart the service at a later time and investigate system problems that limit the<br />

number of processes.<br />

2. Check the Event Viewer Application and System logs.<br />
