Status Codes<br />

<strong>NetBackup</strong> Status Code: 162<br />

Message: Incorrect server plat<strong>for</strong>m <strong>for</strong> license<br />

Explanation: The plat<strong>for</strong>m identifier in the license key does not match the plat<strong>for</strong>m type<br />

on which the key was installed.<br />

Recommended Action: Ensure that you are using a license key that was intended <strong>for</strong> the<br />

plat<strong>for</strong>m on which you are installing.<br />

<strong>NetBackup</strong> Status Code: 164<br />

Message: unable to mount media because it is in a DOWN drive or misplaced<br />

Explanation: A restore was attempted and the volume required <strong>for</strong> the restore was in a<br />

DOWN drive in a robot. Or, the slot that should contain the volume is empty.<br />

Recommended Action:<br />

◆ If volume is in a DOWN drive, remove it and place it in its designated slot. Then, retry<br />

the restore.<br />

◆ If the volume is in the wrong slot, use a robot inventory option to reconcile the<br />

contents of the robot with the Media Manager volume configuration.<br />

<strong>NetBackup</strong> Status Code: 165<br />

Message: NB image database contains no image fragments <strong>for</strong> requested backup id/copy<br />

number<br />

Explanation: A restore was attempted and <strong>NetBackup</strong> has no record of fragments<br />

associated with the backup ID that has the files.<br />

Recommended Action: Check the <strong>NetBackup</strong> Problems report <strong>for</strong> additional in<strong>for</strong>mation<br />

about the error. For detailed troubleshooting in<strong>for</strong>mation, create a debug log directory <strong>for</strong><br />

either bpdm or bptm (whichever applies) and retry the operation. Check the resulting<br />

debug log.<br />
