Profundamente conmovido por el sensible fallecimiento de Su Santi­
dad Pablo VI, hago llegar a Vuestra Eminencia las expresiones de la
más sentida condolencia y el más leal homenaje a la memoria del escla­
recido Pontífice que con su sabiduría y su bondad orientó los anhelos
de paz y de solidaridad entre los hombres. Reitero a Vuestra Eminencia
las expresiones de mi consideración más alta y distinguida.

It is with deep sorrow that I have learnt the death of His Holiness
Pope Paul the VI. In the name of the Provisional Military Government
of Socialist Ethiopia and in my own name I extend my condolence
